We just foiled an attack. And we're in A'stan. There have been NO Afghani's who've attacked the US. Until we invaded their nation. Our problem is with AQ and A'stan is nothing more than coincidental. There are PLENTY of places to train. That and the actual attacks were planned in Germany and here in the US. Humping through firehoops and shooting silhouettes in the middle of nowhere had nothing, NOTHING to do with 9/11.

Where was Osama when 9/11 was planned, financed, and implemented? Who helped with all of that - as in, which government?

| Board Mommy | I think it is arrogant as hell for you to suggest that you know more about international affairs than a Secretary of State.

| Board Mommy | If we do not fight against Al Qaeda and other terrorist organizations on their own turf, where they are, where would be a better place to fight them?

I have to go play golf now to save children from some wretched disease or other that the evil corporations won't take care of...unless there is a golf tournament first. You kids have fun. I will be back.

| To my knowledge, no Afghanis have attacked this country - period. It is al-Qaeda, and Afghanistan was the perfect home for them, being a nation in near anarchy, ruled by a despotic religious group in alignment with their beliefs, access to loads of drug money, and entrenched in a region historically difficult to fight in. Leave Afghanistan, and it is leaving the keys in the ignition.
