His appointees also for the most part have some questionable backgrounds.

If you cant understand any of this, then there really is no reason to discuss it with you any further.

Alexa, et. al. keep throwing out the "well, someone else did it before Obama, where were you then?" canard. The forums are archived. The posts from people who were speaking out in the LAST administration (because, let's face it, she only cares about beating the dead horse of the Bush Administration) are well documented.

But I can understand why. People who voted for him are probably ate up with dread & loathing over the fact that the shine wore off of their false idol so fast & they made a really bad choice in voting for him. They can't defend the current administration, so it's time to drag out the past again & start railing against it.

Alexa, Please! Look at some of these non-confirmed by senate czars. Let me pick one, how about one of his first czar appointments, the Climate Czar, Carol Browner:

Quote:
Browner was made a czar so that her powers could be more sweeping than they would be in any single official appointment—witness her cross-agency role in the secret automobile emissions regulations—and to avoid the scrutiny of Senate confirmation, which would have been difficult for Browner. Since leaving the Clinton administration she has moved further left, even becoming one of the 14 members of the “Socialist International Commission for a Sustainable World Society” on whose Web site she was listed as a member as recently as January 5, the day she was named White House Climate Czar.

This Commission pursues a clearly socialist agenda of centralized control under a regime of "global governance" that would enforce extreme environmental political correctness on a global basis. It’s far outside the political mainstream and would have presented serious problems for centrist Democrats facing a confirmation vote.

It’s one thing for President Obama to surround himself with the advisers he’d like to have, but it’s another to bestow on them sweeping powers to broker secret negotiations and push forward vast new regulations that could cost American families thousands of dollars.
Do you not consider that RADICAL? Are you so blinded by love for 0bama that these actions and surrounding himself with these type of people doesn't phase you? Or do you agree with a socialist one-world government and the destruction of the United States of our founders and the disolution of our Constitution? Because that is what many of these advisors want! Be honest, either you support or defend the Contitution of the United States or you will support and defend the development of a one world socialist government, which is it?

It *has* gotten a little out of hand, and yes, Bush did it also. He and Obama both head the list in appointing czars far above what is normal in the last 100 years. On the other hand, most of Bush's czars were eventually confirmed by the Senate. Most of Obama's have not undergone any of that scrutiny.

Which IS why people are alarmed. The number of them is still disturbing, but just as disturbing is who these people are, what they believe and what their background is. Many of them would never pass being vetted by the Senate.

I'm not so sure about that...Cass Sunstein was approved.

I just did a quick read of him on Wiki. He's a bit kooky. He suggests we should celebrate tax day, but for another reason --

"In what sense is the money in our pockets and bank accounts fully ‘ours’? Did we earn it by our own autonomous efforts? Could we have inherited it without the assistance of probate courts? Do we save it without the support of bank regulators? Could we spend it if there were no public officials to coordinate the efforts and pool the resources of the community in which we live?... Without taxes there would be no liberty. Without taxes there would be no property. Without taxes, few of us would have any assets worth defending. [It is] a dim fiction that some people enjoy and exercise their rights without placing any burden whatsoever on the public… There is no liberty without dependency"

This sounds like that weird, weird post about how government regulation is what brings us the roads, food on our table and electricity in our homes - and not the hard work of individuals. Amazing that this country survived at all with a mimimum of taxation.

And that last line scares the crap outta me. Straight out of 1984 - Freedom is Slavery.

Sounds like a letter that I just read in the Recorder yesterday by D. Welsonoski -something or other from Huntingtown.

If he were Republican they would have talked impeachment by now.

Can you imagine if some white guy got up and publicly stated that blacks need to be forced out of their jobs to make way for whites ?

Im all for it.
lets start by getting some equal representation at the DMV.
fire anyone that is not an english speaking white guy and replace them with one.
Same with government contractors.
Dump enough black contractors and suppliers to make room for white guys to create a balanced representation.
