Ed Schultz : “Republicans Wants to See U Dead"

Ed Schultz on MSNBC: “Republicans Want to See You Dead”

Quote:
Writing for David Horowitz’s NewsReal Ben Johnson reports that Keith Olbermann may not be the worst commentator employed by leftist cable news network MSNBC. Meet Ed Schultz:
The Republicans lie! They want to see you dead! They’d rather make money off your dead corpse! They kinda like it when that woman has cancer and they don’t have anything for her…My God, Democrats, what’s wrong with you?! You can’t deal with these people, at all!
Schultz proceeded to equate the GOP with the Cancer Caucus “and brandished a death wish against [moderate Republican] Olympia Snow.”
Now Olympia Snowe, I’m not wishing bad on you, at all, but if you get cancer in your stomach, Senator Snowe, what I would like you to do is wait two weeks to see a doctor. Huh?! You’re telling them to suck it up.
Watch it here.
Snowe isn’t the first Republican targeted by loon-leftist Schultz: Earlier this month he invited Rep. Michelle Bachmann, R-MN, “to slit her wrist right here on ‘The Ed Show.’
Suffice to say that conservatives may consider spending a little bit less timing criticizing right-of-center commentators and a bit more time going after Ed Schultz and the like.

Schulz - another in a LONG line of liberal talkers that just plan STINK. He makes Rachel Maddow look like competent journalist.

Think this will shut Hommo from moaning about Glenn Beck's commentary? Me either.

Then Ben Johnson's judgement is suspect. Olbermann is a seething wretch who never, EVER has anything like a conversation with an opposing view.

Ed, for all his emotion and theatrics, does indeed have guests with opposing views. Another thing Ed does is hold his own accountable. He takes 'em to task, any view, has heated words and then says 'thank you, we can disagree, hope to have you on again!".

I don't agree with Ed and he is certainly looking at the shark tank at this rate if not actually lining up for it. However, he does leave you thinking he truly cares about the country.

Olbermann just hates, sinister hates.

It has been said that conservatives tend to think the left are people with bad ideas and that the lefties tend to think those on the right are simply bad people.

Ed fits the first description. Keef, the last.

I don't disagree - I listen to Ed's radio show - but he comes across as a little too fanatical for me. I find he is constantly promoting class warfare with a real emphasis on "those rich bastard Republicans have it made in the shade and they don't want to share with you hard working American people." I hear this message woven into his commentary every day.

But I have seen him have a civil discussion with a conservative on his TV show, but as smart as he thinks he is, he never appears to have a truly convincing argument.

Olbermann is almost as coherent as Colonel Qadaffy - but he likes America a little less than the cuckoo colonel - a common trait on MSNBC.

Yeah, in and of himself, Ed spends too much time being an ass. However, the OP was in comparison to Olbermann who is just a mess of a human being.

Ed is braindead, first minute of the commentary and then his comments of what he got out of it were enough.

I have never seen Ed Schultz, but it does surprise me that he attacks Olympia Snowe, of all people.

She votes with the democrats more often than the republicans. Her picture is in the encyclopedia next to the description of RINO.

I had the unfortunate experience of having to listen to Ed Schulz as a sports broadcaster for WDAY in Fargo, ND for many years. Bloviation is a kind word for his practice.

I knew him when he was a Republican..that was a short experience for him when the Republican party in North Dakota told him they weren't interested.

Ed is known best for his violent temper. He is famous for screaming expletives at a drunk college student that allegedly threw a bottle at his press booth during a football game. His foul words went out over the entire stadium speaker system. He was fired. After that he bounced around Minnesota and North Dakota until he started a "call in and argue with Ed radio program". He was successful because EVERYONE disagreed with him and would call in and argue with him. Kinda like FF on this forum.

He is a mouthpiece now for Senators Kent Conrad and Byron Dorgan. His rise to prominence on MSNBC is curious indeed. His only talent is being argumentative and offensive.
