Twice in the past two days, SEPTA officials have alerted police to men taking pictures on the Broad Street subway line in South Philadelphia.

On Wednesday, a SEPTA cashier told officers about a man taking pictures at the Lombard-South station, but the man, after being questioned by the cashier about his activities, left before officers arrived.

I'm surprised it isn't. You'd think a handful of foiled terrorist attacks would be spectacular news.

The only thing I think could be the reason is the scope of the attacks. A bomb threat at the local Wal-Mart is *technically* terrorism, but it's not very newsworthy. None of these appeared to be the high profile, Hollywood blockbuster/24 style targets.

The Texas one was 9/11-esque.

The details of the NYV targets, I've heard rumor of, were tunnels and subway; would have been catastrophic.

This reports sound like this to me;

"Today, 4 groups of potential hijackers were arrested at various airports around the nation today with box cutters and mean looks on their faces. In baseball, the Yankees won. Weather when we come back. Later, the cooking show will be on with special guest..."

If the media blew this into headlines, it would reflect poorly on THE WON and his plan for touchy-feely negotiations with terrorists. It's better to ignore any trends or unusual circumstances that might upset the sheeple until after the slaughters take place.

Understood. However, with all these foiled attempts, do you really wanna be the one shown to have ignored, yet again, what's really going on? The world needs only so many Keef Olbermann and Rachel Maddows.

I do not believe THE WON intends to be elected President once again, thus the pressure to make the nation totally socialistic so quickly. Right now the health care bill is the only thing in his sights for America. He's too busy right now trying to get the rest of the world to accept him as the supreme leader for all mankind.

I have to look up all the things Nicolae Carpathia did in the Left Behind series but we look to be well into that series (absent the rapture).
