Obama: Afghanistan not 'American battle'

Obama: Afghanistan not 'American battle' but NATO mission - Yahoo News

US President Barack Obama said Tuesday the war in Afghanistan was not purely an "American battle" but was a broader NATO mission, as he met the western alliance's chief Anders Fogh Rasmussen.

"This is not a American battle, this is a NATO mission," Obama told reporters after the Oval Office meeting, which comes as he launches a series of intense talks on whether to send more US soldiers to the Afghan war.

"We are working actively and diligently to consult with NATO at every step of the way," Obama said.

=======

Yeah cause NATO's got such a bang-up great record....ohwait...

Obama is such a puzzy. I knew this would happen... Americans are dying in record numbers over there in the last 3 months and the Pres has to check with the EURO's to see what he should do. I personally think he should resign and give the job over to someone who can do it... Oh wait that would be biden and we know he couldn't do it... Well he should resign as well and then... No wait that won't work either because Pelosi is third in line...

Damn we are screwed. But on a serious note it is our troops who are truly screwed!
