Does anyone know when Obama is going to address the Economy? I am very confused. He seem's to be locked on the Healthplan and bring the Olympics to Chicago - I guess that is our (United States) priorities now?

Yeah, and apparently he's forgotten we have a war going on. And the media is hoping we'll all forget about it as well.

You know, I was never one of those hysterics. No matter what happened in politics, I always knew that the US would bounce back and be just fine. When I'd hear someone say, "Clinton is killing this country!" or "We will never recover from Bush!" I scoffed at those doomsayers. The US is just fine and we're big enough and solid enough that we can overcome a few mistakes and setbacks.

But I don't feel that way anymore. I think the Left is finally getting their wish of destroying our country.

Wow vraiblonde - I couldn't agree more. The big difference between Clinton and Bush is the Media (i.e., MSNBC, CNN, etc.) and the Press (i.e., Post, Times, etc.). You never see anything "negative" about Obama and company - only positive comments. If their is something negative - they just don't broadcast or print it. Now, that is the scariest part. It is very very unfortunately that most of our citizen's simply rely on the Media and Print to get the "latest and greatest." And, unlike previous administrations - they can say and do anything they want because no one will ever find out thanks to the Media/Press. The only way I know what is going on is getting the FoxNews slant on the news. This is very very scary...
