Usually something like a million person invasion slaughtering everyone in sight tends to turn up in the historical record. Outside of the Bible, it doesn't exist.

If we can find evidence of pre-Columbian tribes and obscure ancient civilzations, why can't we find a shred of evidence of a million or more people crossing a region where the path they took is explicitly laid out in the Bible?
