Therein lies the problem with Socialism/Communism. You can never get away from classes, never! There will always be a class above the rest, always!

In order to set up such a system you need power and leadership. Even if you get a good group to start it up you'll eventually run into corruption and the like down the road. It all boils down to basic human instinct eventually. "Who cares about these 300 million when I'm eating lobster every night?"

Eventually, the masses who grew tired of the rich grow tired of the powerful. Their homes are ill-repaired and they're left with little food and resources. Their life of yesteryear doesn't seem so bad now.

Ummm no. The paragraphs and the graphs came right from CNN with a link to CNN's site and the bottom graph came from The Heritage Org and is sourced to them as well. I gave the link to Tax Professors blog because he had it all compiled there. Hell, he didn't even have any of his own analysis at the link.

It's more of a matter of keeping the leeches from voting themselves more of your money. No one would accuse military members of being parasites. It's the professional slackers and people who live off the public dole habitually who shouldn't have a vote. They have a vested interest in picking your pocket.

We'll make an exception, there.

Here's the thing; taxes are so intertwined, sales taxes, user fees, taxes on airline tickets, hotels, etc, that we've completely lost accountability with our reps because all these taxes are beyond our reach, beyond the ballot box.
