Klavan is definitely a biased source and what he presented in his opinion piece wasn't backed up by any reliable and unbiased source. My opinion is that he is wrong. This is my opinion. If it were all that important to me, then I would search for agreeable sources that would discredit what he has to say. Let's take the children singing a song for Obama. This was a group of kids that put this together as a black history month project. Notifications were sent to homes and all were approved. Nothing more was said about it until it ended up on Utube as an apparent propaganda piece. "The dooomy music edited in was a perfect clue". It went viral and now it is a problem and somehow those permission slips were forgotten as was the Black History month project it was originally intended for. But, you see, it wasn't a problem way back when Bush visited some school children rebuilding their lives after the Katrina aftermath. If you took the time, you would be able to find an obscure piece of video on uTube in which school children were serenading the President in song and in this song they were praising Bush for being such a good President for taking care of them after Katrina. What a hero he was. Hmmm....no project whatsoever, excepting the President was visiting. Propaganda and indoctrination of our school children? Oh the shock of it! Personally, I don't see anything wrong with either video. Children should be taught to respect their President, no matter who it may be at the time. Here I see double standard and blatant political propaganda. And therefore render that portion of Klavan's opinion as wrong. I do the whole thing, but this is just an example. It isn't all that important to me. You want to paint Obama as a Messiah...great...have at it.... It is my opinion that it is only among the GOP circle that calls him such anyway. It is the only time I see it. Propaganda pure and simple being batted around between people like minded. Everyone else just sees him as the POTUS.

| ![]() The way Obama has been treated in the media and by the people who were "following" him, is what led up to him being referred to as The Messiah. He was/has or is being likened to a "Jim Jones" type of figure. With good reason. People *were nearly passing out from adoration when the man won the election. It's on video. Remember the woman who was shaking & crying in near hysteria that Obama was going to pay her car payment or mortgage or whatever it was? What about the news anchors who were having Obamagasms night after night as they gushed breathlesssly about him? Even Chris Mathews had tingles in his leg, for cripes sake. Interviewers nearly passed out from the sight of him. There are too many other examples to count from the time the man appeared on the campaign trail to the time of the Coronation...er...oops, I mean Inauguration. It was the examples of hero worship by the media and the public which led to his being referred to as The Messiah. Duh.
