The professional commentariat conversation (Obama division) surrounding Obama and the absurd defense of the absurd awarding of the peace prize to an ever more absurd president is, in essence, devolved into an award to themselves simply for voting for him.

Consider, rational thought can barely contain incredulity that the simple fact of the matter is that the man hasn't done a goddamn thing but win an election which puts him, to that point, at the exact same level of accomplishment of each and every US president in our history.

Their argument is that he has changed the tone, ended the reign of the cowboy, apologized to the world, peaceful actions to be sure, much as walking across the street or covering your mouth when one sneezes is likewise peaceful...in other words...he showed up.

The left has turned Obama into a participation trophy, a showing up ribbon, a guest book signed. They have patronized him into the one thing he can least afford if he is to do anything substantive as president; that of a a mere symbol. A bumper sticker. A trinket to be bought at rest stops.

They, his supporters, are validating the worst to be thought of them; they, in fact, only voted for him, for symbolic reasons.

Not good for America.
