Funny thing about books, especially non-fiction ones....the reader (assuming that they actually read the book & don't just carry it around for show) learns about the ideas and theories of another. They will then either agree, disagree or seek more information (or a combination of these). The ideas that are agreed with then become incorporated into the mind of the reader, to be used when needed and always subject to change later when more knowledge is gained by more reading.

Looking at what a person reads can tell you an awful lot about what a person is interested in, believes, or has a need to know. A reading record can be very revealing. That's one reason why the American Library Association fights so hard to have that information kept private.

Reading is knowledge.

Knowledge is power.
