Me being a member of the Tolerant Right, didn't un-friend them, delete their account, or block them from posting on my wall, but in fact, they've done just that to me.

It seems they want a podium to spread their BS without discourse, discussion or disagreement. They don't want their message diluted with silly things like facts and truth.

More BS from the party of Tolerance.. the true America seen through FaceBook.
It only took the CBS hack news website 1 hour to block me after I posted news about the ACORN Pimps and Prostitutes scandal that took them 5 days to report because the blanket they tried to cover it with was too small!

See, I post in here because I seek the debate, the argument, with the interest of not only making my point but seeing the other side and learning something in the process.

I mean, take unions for instance. Around here, unions are, for the most part, bad, end of story, they should all be gone. However, there is an argument to be made that, when there are 20 guys for each job, there is a role for a union to fight for better treatment for people.

That day has passed but there is still a role I see for union in an assembly line job. The company isn't going to pay $50 when it can pay $49 and it isn't going to run a line for 8 hours when it can run it for 9 and they're not going to be closed for the Holiday when they can be open.

It's a balance thing. It is a black/white issue for the individual; don't like it, don't work for those people. It is not a black/white issue on a larger scale, a city scale or county or state or national.

There is a problem when companies go too far. There is a problem when unions go too far.

Name an issue; I like the debate and when someone can or will ONLY see their view but can't defend or explain why, that's what I don't like.

I don't get into a lot of politics on my FB. My ex-BIL is a wheel in the Libertarian party, so sometimes I'll have a Wall argument with him, but even then it's all in the spirit of debate and no hard feelings.
It could also be the reason you both use the term EX???

Eh, I just get sick of all the political talk one way or another. Funny though, I don't get a single email from anyone I know that's on the left. I get conservative emails from a few different people.

I also have a friend who forwards me at least 5 religious emails a week. You know, those emails about how god saved someone, or god loves you. I've mentioned that I don't particularly care for them, but I guess it's easier to foward them to everyone she knows rather than pick and choose. I just choose to delete those as well.

Well, because some issues I have blinders on.

Some issues I focus in far too tightly to one ONE aspect and may not be prioritizing the other aspects very well or using a poor or incomplete perspective.

Some times, I am far more interested in winning a battle that costs me the war.

I am smart but sometimes stunningly stupid. I am sometimes wise but sometimes, not so much.

Lastly, there are all sorts of traits other people have that I admire and even wish I had, things I'd like me kids to be like. However, some of them, I just don't care enough or want to put out the effort; combination of arrogance and laziness.
