White House Communications Director: We Controlled The Media During The Campaign

White House Communications Director and noted Maoist Anita Dunn bragged during an interview with the Dominican government that during the campaign that the Obama campaign controlled the media by refusing to give interviews and instead relying on recorded messages that forced reporters to cover what they wanted instead of asking questions.

TEL AVIV � President Obama’s presidential campaign focused on “making” the news media cover certain issues while rarely communicating anything to the press unless it was “controlled,” White House Communications Director Anita Dunn disclosed to the Dominican government at a videotaped conference.

“Very rarely did we communicate through the press anything that we didn’t absolutely control,” said Dunn.

“One of the reasons we did so many of the David Plouffe videos was not just for our supporters, but also because it was a way for us to get our message out without having to actually talk to reporters,” said Dunn, referring to Plouffe, who was Obama’s chief campaign manager.

“We just put that out there and made them write what Plouffe had said as opposed to Plouffe doing an interview with a reporter. So it was very much we controlled it as opposed to the press controlled it,” Dunn said.

The media cannot be controlled unless it wants to be.

The media acted as free advertisement for the Obama campaign throughout the campaign. They did it because they are controlled and staffed by left leaning liberal Obamaphiles. Now these same Obmaphiles who have always fought for freedom of the press are ganging up on Fox news because it isnt like them.

Even now the press is handling Obama with kid gloves. If Bush couldnt make a decision on Afghanistan ,they would be on his ass like a hip pocket.
The One is traveling so often the Engines on Air Force One never cool off, and yet no problem with the press.

The Obama Administration are out there on all the network news shows whining about Fox - trying to act like they aren't whining about Fox.

They have an orchestrated campaign against and have waged war on Fox - which is stupid. Because now, Fox is using it and making a big story of it. They have the airwaves, so overall, I think it's stupid of the Obama administration to go this route. Mainstream Americans can see through it and it will draw more ratings to Fox.
