5 Messages For Elite Republicans

Quote:
Conservatives are sick and tired of being taken for granted, misrepresented, and talked down to by the same "elite" Republicans in Washington who hopelessly screwed everything up during the Bush years.

Everybody knows exactly whom we're talking about here. The same snobby, elitist, stuffed shirt, squishy, poll-obsessed Country Club Republicans who went to D.C., forgot who put them there, wasted the incredible opportunity they had to change this country for the better, and are now pointing the finger at everyone except themselves for their mistakes.
John Hawkins : 5 Messages for 'Elite' Republicans - Townhall.com

Love the last line!

Great. Threaten. Wag a finger. Pitch a fit. Then vote for the lesser evil.

The ONLY way the GOP gets the message is when it matters, if conservatives DO draw a line in the sand and do NOT vote for people like McCain. Then and only then, do they get the message. As it is, McCain put up a good showing and, by virtue of that, is still, his RINO routine, a viable strategery.

Had McCain lost in a landslide, not just 10 million votes, but 20 or 30 million, then, the right would have been heard long and loud and we would not be having these 'what to do' conversations anymore; the GOP would be actively moving right instead of trying to cut off the right.

I wonder what will happen with that Congressional seat in New York? That will help determine where the GOP is heading.

Good one to watch. McCain has been actively taking his leftover campaign cash and supporting his kind of people, across the country.

All one need do is look at Arlen Spectre and see the long term value of 'lesser' evil; sooner or later, it will betray you. Most likely when you most need it.
