Obama is worse than Bill Clinton - he never met a photo op he didn't like.

Standing before a backdrop of Sailors at NAS Jacksonville on Monday and today this. I guess he thinks this really proves he cares about the military!

Showing up at a ceremony like this focuses all the attention on himself & demeans the honor that should have been bestowed upon our fallen military.

Way to go Obama - make the story about you, a**hat. You aren't fit to stand at the feet of our nation's fallen heros and render a salute.

Funny you would mention that.
I saw on the news the other day where he got off of Air Force One, and saluted the officers on the ground.
I made the comment then that he had no right to be saluted, or to salute anyone in our military.
He has not earned that right in his life.

I spent 8 years in, but because I left after that and never looked back, I dont think I have the right to be saluted or to salute.

The man does a daily TV speech/appearance. He loves seeing himself on TV.

I bet he grabs his kids every night to watch the news and says "look, there's daddy", with a big, proud smile smeared across his face.

Sorry, BCP, your wrong. He is the Commander in Chief, no matter anyones personal thoughts. The holder of that office is saluted and returns salutes. Military members dont get to choose who they render salutes to, nor should they.

I wonder if anybody can pull up the sailor shot (no pun intended) from Monday. In the past, I have always seens shots with the military behind the president and the military members look as giddy as 1st graders. This time, there was only one giddy military guy...the rest looked PO'd imho. I've never seen that before so it was very noteworthy to me.

True. And that's why I'm glad I'm not a military member. I don't have to salute him in one minute & go take a shower later because of it.
