Really? Because I wasn't particularly surprised by their appeasement of the Left. Bush and the whole GOP spent 8 years being ripped to shreds by the media, and they are politicians. What did you think they were going to do?

Besides, you think Bush was the worst most destructive president ever, and I don't agree with that. He had a bunch of shining moments that will go down in history, after the talking heads have all died off. Yes, he had some blunders, but I don't agree that he was such a terrible president. In fact, I miss him dearly right now.

I don't agree that Iraq was a mistake, and I don't think he was any worse at running a war than any other president in history.

I think Colin Powell was an enormous mistake, but everyone else seemed to love him.

I think getting rid of Rumsfeld was a mistake, and I think worrying about what the haters said was a mistake, but again - he's a politician. What did you expect him to do?

Not a damn thing, really! It's true. I know I was here posting things very near every darn day as I found them. Hell, I probably still have the links to a lot of that stuff.

And all the while, the Libbies were railing at me, wringing their hands and gnashing their teeth at my right wing nutcasedness.

So yeah - WE old y'all Libbies so!!

I told my husband from the day I found out Obama was running for president, I don't trust him, he won't do any good for this country, in fact he'll make things worse.

I posted about this incident on my Facebook page earlier. A few minutes ago one of my friends (an avowed Liberal) sent me an e-mail calling me the insensitive one for "politicizing" this.

This is not about politics at all, as far as I'm concerned; I think everyone ought to be upset at Oblahma's callousness.

That's not true, not worst ever. One of them, yes. Worst in our life time? Yes...until Obama replaces him which he is well on his way to achieving.

Your loyalty to Bush is, I suppose admirable, however baseless.

From Schiavo to Fanny/Freddy to expansion of entitlements to oil to conduct of the wars to not having a sitting veep to run in 2008 to bailing out the UAW and TARP, we got two judges and some tax cuts.

So, what shining moments?

You give Bush credit for his intentions, not his results, and that is sooo unlike you.

As for missing Bush, the very idea of him being back in charge gives me a stomach ache and wipes out all the hope I have for the future, hope validated by the recent results in NJ and Va and the huge difficulty Obama is having getting his way.

I'd rather have Obama struggling to shove socialism down our throats and us fighting back rather than Bush doing us like a bunch of sheep hoping and praying he knows best all while our instincts scream out that something is terribly wrong.

You see some well meaning guy with a few shining moments run ragged by the mean old media. I see a crusader who drove this nation over a cliff and handed it to the socialists.

This is where you jumped the shark and I stopped reading.

Just because I don't agree with you that Bush is Hitler and the worst president in our lifetime, evil and inept beyond belief, doesn't mean I'm "loyal" to him. It means I am rational and fair, which is something you are not, in your hyperbolic zeal to jump on the ABB bandwagon.
