Obama says don't jump to conclusions on shooting

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama said Friday the entire nation is grieving for those slain at Fort Hood, and he urged people not to jump to conclusions while law enforcement officers investigate the shootings.
Obama met Friday morning with FBI Director Robert Mueller and other federal leaders to get an update on what they've learned. Thirteen people were killed and 30 others injured in the shooting rampage at the Texas Army post on Thursday. The suspected shooter is an Army psychiatrist; his motive remains unclear.

A few days ago Nancy is saying a huge loss is a big win. Now, Obama is displaying a tenuous grasp of reality. Holy effing hell! He can be a socialist, fine. He can be a race baiter, fine. But, does our president have to be tard???

I find the mis-use of that terminology to be upsetting myself.

Why can not people here find some accurate way of cutting others down without this cheap shot against people that do not deserve the reference.

Nope. I used to be convinced that this man, with his background, his schooling, his rep, was smart and thoughtful. I'm just not seeing it. Sure, he may think everyone else is a moron however, he just isn't that bright.

As Vrai pointed out, the absolute leap he made over the Cambridge cop teaching moment, he knows how to do that, race bait and agitate. His eyes lit up like some dummy doing the NY Times cross word who, finally, found a word he knew.

The shout out yesterday, he knows how to do the seminar, the break out groups, the platitudes.

The campaigning, basking in the accolades and cheers of people who he knows, like a rock star, would all show him their tits if he merely asked.

The speeches, the emoting, the timbre, tone and pacing, I have little doubt his teleprompter tells him when to smile and look left or right.

He doesn't know how to do anything useful and he is oblivious to the deaths and carnage of yesterday because it simply wasn't part of his renowned focus, a focus, as usual, on the image. At the end of the day, actors know how to act, engineers know how to engineer, managers know how to manage and non practicing lawyers know how to sound real, real important. Just like the book tells them.

I'm starting to worry.
