I just never get used to how ####ed up things are today and how we got here since Sept 12, 2001. It's a wide awake nightmare. The heroin thing, amongst all the other rubble, tends to get left out that we spilt US blood on foreign soil, not only over oil, which we have plenty of, but ####ing heroin.

I wish we'd get out. If we had to go anywhere I wish it had been there first instead of Iraq.

I took my son to Walter Reed two weeks ago and remarked to his doctor that it was really sad to see so many service members in that hospital so badly injured and that it really hit home that no matter how bad my son's medical issues are, that they were small in comparison to what I was seeing.

She said the saddest part for her is that she is so immune to it now.
