The "widespread" negative perception was there long before the death panels. The people who saw that as negative already hated her. The rest of the nation understood what she meant, and continue to understand that rationing will get worse under Obamacare.

As far as it being "widespread," that may be true among the people you hang with, and the out of touch media, but if it was truly "widespread" would her book have done so well?

Someone else mentioned it; the GOP establishment, especially the neo cons, hates her. Literally.

They hate her because she is outspoken while they cower in their offices and let the democrats run all over them.

She tells it like it is while they become Liberal Lite.

Republicans will never gain voters by sucking up to the left leaning liberal crowd. They need to drop their left middle of the road RINO plan and become Conservative.

That was me, and I see a lot of sour grapes from the RNC establishment, they are jealous that she inspires more emotion in the base than any since Reagan. I'm not saying anything comparing the response from the base.

That, combined with the fact that she wont roll over and do as they tell her, thats like waving a red flag. I'm not a rabid fan, just telling like I see it.

Why should they? You and others proved that your willing to throw your conservatism aside just to vote party lines.

By throwing a RINO candidacy into the mix, the GOP figures its a WIN WIN. Republicans like yourself are willing to over look them, and there is the benefit of attracting conservative Democratic voters.

I dont know where you get the idea I vote for RINO's. I voted for Sarah Palin. Not Mclame. He just happened to be on the ticket.

By the way I voted for Fred Thompson in the primaries.

I dont see how you can say we chose to vote for a RINO over a Conservative, as there was no Conservative running in the last election, and as I say I voted for Sarah.

The only thing Sarah sells out is books, and the halls she speaks in.

I don't recall referring to the Washington Times in my OP. Maybe you should go back and re-read it.

The WIDESPREAD NEGATIVE PERCEPTION is what I referred to. The Left jumped on it like a chicken on a grub. Too bad they didn't think before jumping. Now Sarah is being proven right.
