Annapolis Mayor Gets 24-7 Security Detail

Is this overkill? Annapolis Mayor needs to make budget cuts and layoff employees. The determination was made to give him and his chief administrative officer 24/7 armed police protection.

Legit? Or overkill. Comments on blog appreciated--or here! Does a smallish town need this?

They spelled Wednesday wrong in the video header.

And my answer is no... The reason for the cuts is due to budget problems and his desire to spend more money isn't warranted. He is just going to have to suck it up!
