Exclamation GOOPERS Vandalize 8th Grade Classroom

"Although Maine is known for its two moderate Republican senators — Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins — last week’s state GOP convention showed the growing influence of far-right activists. An “overwhelming majority of delegates” voted to “scrap the the proposed party platform and replace it with a document created by a group of Tea Party activists.” Maine Politics called it “a mix of right-wing fringe policies, libertarian buzzwords and outright conspiracy theories.”

The Republican convention was at the Portland Expo, but participants went to the nearby King Middle School to hold their caucuses. While there, they went through eighth-grade teacher Paul Clifford’s items, opened sealed boxes, stole a prized poster, and vandalized the room with Republican slogans. Some details on what they did:

If only we could...

clean out 100,000 more classrooms!

The shallow liberal teachers that have hijacked Social studies & History class should be booted out. They love to breed contempt for America,...mocking our founders,...holding fake "Trials"...praising radicals, justifying terrorism.

The books I have reviewed constantly drip-drip-drip emotive essays on how mean America is. My book dedicated 3 paragraphs to the wonder of Margaret Sanger (Queen of Death Racist)....and never mentioned Samuel Morse or the Wright brothers.

It is so hard to find books that are decent, informative...and respect our nation.

I would encourage EVERY parent to visit their school and take a solid look at all the posters/textbooks...and activities. Don't allow your kids to be steadily given a diet of Socialism, Anti American, Anti achievement.

You're in luck!

"The conservative members maintain that they are trying to correct what they see as a liberal bias among the teachers who proposed the curriculum. To that end, they made dozens of minor changes aimed at calling into question, among other things, concepts like the separation of church and state and the secular nature of the American Revolution.

“I reject the notion by the left of a constitutional separation of church and state,” said David Bradley, a conservative from Beaumont who works in real estate. “I have $1,000 for the charity of your choice if you can find it in the Constitution.”

They also included a plank to ensure that students learn about “the conservative resurgence of the 1980s and 1990s, including Phyllis Schlafly, the Contract With America, the Heritage Foundation, the Moral Majority and the National Rifle Association.”
