And now for a completely different kind of candidate...

Presidential Candidate Pushes Mandatory Tooth-Brushing

Washington - He says he thinks it's important to give people the opportunity to vote for the supreme vermin, since all politicians are vermin. That's one reason Vermin Supreme gives for putting his name on the ballot in DC's presidential primary.

Supreme, who's from Baltimore, says he hopes to also run in the Tennessee general election, because he says he only needs 25 signatures to get on the ballot there.

The number-one item on Supreme's agenda is to pass a mandatory tooth-brushing law to force every American to brush his or her teeth after each meal and even after snacks. He says it would be un-American not to support tooth-brushing.

As for terrorism, Supreme says it's "very bad and must be stopped."

Supreme has run for office several time before, including in a Baltimore mayoral race. He says he's never been elected, but he does have a standard campaign outfit, which includes wearing a rubber boot on his head.
