This is a frustrating aspect of all of this mess; from your side do just want our guys to be as bad as your guys? The answer, from the left, to all of Obama's shortcomings and failures and, like this issue, suggestions of problems, are that Bush did it, too.

The bottom line is that, on the whole, Obama and Bush are pretty much the same on most, if not all, of the major issues, on what they, as president, actually did/do.

I think you raise a valid point about Obama and the Saudis. Shouldn't your response be you are worried, as well, about Obama's relationship with them instead of yet another dismissive 'oh well, your guy did it, too...'?

Shouldn't we be asking ourselves about our relationship with them and what is in the interest of OUR nation? We, on the right, blew it and excused away, time after time, that Bush MUST know what he is doing. Is that what you wanna do, too?

If 60,000,000 right wingers who I know a great many can't stand McCain, the original RINO, the media ho of media ho's, if we can find rationale to vote for even him over the other guys on the grounds of 'less evil' then there is NO one, no matter how liberal, on our side we won't support. We just proved it.

If we keep buying what they sell, how is that not our fault? How is that beyond our control?

Had McCain, after the final straw of voting for TARP, had lost by 20-30,000,000 votes, as he should of, then the GOP would have had no choice but to respond to the wishes of the people. As it is, they are right in thinking they pretty much gave us what we wanted. We, the people, support this or not.

I hope this fall proves otherwise.

The problem is that politicians have gotten to the point that they just expect they will be elected each time regardless of what they do.

we have to retrain the politicians by voting them out as fast as we can when they prove to be working against the people.

hopefully november will bring with it a strong message. But, basing it on the way this country votes, I dont hold much faith in that either. pelosi will keep her position for at least another two years.
