That's pretty arrogant of him. More than most? Really? His 9 1/2 years of military service made him an expert on freedom? Though I am a veteran as well, I certainly won't delcare myself more freedom-savvy than anyone else. But then again, I'd never accuse someone of voting against, or being hostile to freedom, just because they voted differently than I had.

Freedom is not a campaign slogan. No party holds exclusive rights to it. My appreciation of Veterans Day certainly doesn't change depending on which party won the last election. This Veterans Day feels the same for me as they always have, and always will.
