How much money do oil companies receive from the taxpayers?

Since oil companies make thin profit margins, wouldn't any reduction in 'subsidies'..or whatever they are..simply be reflected dime for dime in increased prices at the pump?

Is RT taking over where Air America left off? The guy eventually gets to the point where he mixing planks of the American Socialist Party and the American Revolution.

He does point out the communication problem with entitlement problems.

Of course, like a Socialist, he exploits instead of examines it. They take extraordinarily simplified poll questions about extraordinarily complex programs, then applies them to extraordinarily complex problems and thus argues that is the proof his opposition is invalid.
  • Government Spending is the Problem.
  • Government Tax Policy, although in need of reform, it is very true we are NOT under taxed.
  • Government Tax Policy and Size/Scope/Spending of the Government has a effect on the Economy, any Economist that denies that is NOT a credible Economist.
  • The Deficit and Debt can NOT be solved by addressing discretionary spending alone.
  • Spending on entitlements has to be addressed.
  • You can either cut benefits or reform entitlement programs so that they are NOT the current black holes heading toward insolvency they are now.
You've got one side trying to solve the problem, and do it through reforms instead of cutting benefits, and you've got the other side trying to demagogue the solution for their own political gain at the detriment to the Nation.

Who knows, they might NOT receive any, Liberals have become so incredibly creative with language and purposely mis-characterizing everything in effort to fool people into supporting their position, can you trust anything they say?

The President of the United States goes on National TV and tells the American People he is going to reduce Government Spending in the Tax Code? Huh?

That means he is going to raise taxes? How can you deny he is NOT a Socialist, when he states it government spending for every dollar they let you keep from your income?

Seriously, would anyone be surprised if they are talking about the fact we don't tax oil and gas company as much as they would like, and they are calling that subsidies.

How can liberals be taken seriously, that they are actually interested in solving problems when they won't even honestly discuss the problems? How can they claim, they want to solve the problem, when again and again, they keep being part of the problem by making it impossible to even start discussing the issue?
