Hilary Rosen Apologizes to Ann Romney: ‘Let’s Put the Faux ‘War Against Stay-at-Home Moms‘ to Rest’

Via Talking Points Memo:
Let’s put the faux “war against stay at home moms” to rest once and for all. As a mom I know that raising children is the hardest job there is. As a pundit, I know my words on CNN last night were poorly chosen. In response to Mitt Romney on the campaign trail referring to his wife as a better person to answer questions about women than he is, I was discussing his poor record on the plight of women’s financial struggles. Here is my more fulsome view of the issues. As a partner in a firm full of women who work outside of the home as well as stay at home mothers, all with plenty of children, gender equality is not a talking point for me. It is an issue I live every day. I apologize to Ann Romney and anyone else who was offended. Let’s declare peace in this phony war and go back to focus on the substance.

Standard "I can say anything I want" Liberal then when it is pointed out that she is a lesbian parent the wheels come off and it is no longer about what she said but who she is. What she said is obviously lacking in understanding the beauty of being able to raise children. Hilary probably never worked a day in her life toward something of true value.

Sorry but Hilary should have never said it. Fact that her kids will hate her by the time they are 20 (read The Primal Wound: Understanding the Adopted Child) will be no surprise. Combine by the fact that she is not spending the most important moments of a child's life with that child, instead paying someone else to do it, show how little value she really has for children. Many adoptee's feel like they are just another doll to dress for the parent that needs to fulfill a piece of "family" instead of the true child's need.

Yes Hilary, you are the role model that I hope every adopted child gets as a parent, someone who is so focused on self instead of the child. Congrats, it is time for white hockey skates and cup cakes for all!

Rosen, who has twins with ex-partner Elizabeth Birch, said she was trying to talk about economic issues, then added, "This is going to be an ugly campaign season."

Wow, I wonder who is taking care of the kids. It's bad enough to adopt but to have parents split on top of it is just an award for parent of the year. Does this women understand commitment? Sounds like a selfish "me" liberal.

EX Birch speaks.....

from Huffy Post

Elizabeth Birch: My Children's Other Mom, Hilary Rosen

Stay-at-home moms -- and dads -- are an amazing gift to any child. And Hilary stayed at home for a couple of years when our kids were young for that reason. But almost no one can afford it. And that is what all parents have to figure out in these economic times.

Pure BS. I know several stay at home moms and they pull it off because they are figural. Eliminate the "me" and you can do it.
