| And I will give you the same response I posted in the other thread where you tried this crap: The guy was fired three days before his daughter's surgery, and his health insurance would have still been valid at that time. Your insurance is paid monthly and doesn't just go away the second you lose your job. Plus he'd have continued to receive health coverage under COBRA, as long as he paid the premiums himself. The hospital would have had no way of knowing he had lost his job and (supposedly) his health insurance. It takes months for that paperwork to catch up, not less than three days. In a worst-case scenario the surgery would have proceeded as scheduled, eventually the claim may have been declined because Gonzales canceled his own insurance by not paying the COBRA premiums, and then it would get worked out from there. And that's worst-case. Wells Fargo wouldn't have fired him because they didn't want to pay for his daughter's cancer treatment; *they* wouldn't have been paying for it at all, the insurance company would have. And I hope with all my heart the author of this article isn't trying to convince readers that the insurance company singled out this one lone guy and pressured his employer to fire him, because that would just be way too ignorant. The little girl died in March 2011 - seven months AFTER the guy was fired and screwed up his insurance continuation. That's plenty of time for him to hook up with state benefits or Social Services. The hospital would have arranged it and he'd have barely had to lift a finger, yet apparently even that was too much effort for him. The guy sounds like a grade A #### up who managed to thwart all the dummy-proofing in place when it comes to continued health care coverage. This is clear even with the gargantuan one-sided spin the author of this article has engaged in. Now he's looking for a payday, as most uber-dummies do when they screw themselves through stupidity. Finally, I have no idea what this has to do with Mitt Romney. I'd ask you to explain your reasoning but I can't see your crayon drawings over the internet and don't feel like nannying you through the process of uploading them. |

| I will also use the same response... One part of me wants you to go away but the other part hopes you keep posting because it shows how unbelievably stupid you are. Although you are greatly lacking in the cerebral department, we need you people to empty our trash, mop our floors, dig our ditches and mow our lawns.

| How come no one on the left (or right) has simply said; "What we want is for EVERYONE to be covered. How we do it is you simply go apply for a plan you like and we will send you a check for the premiums every month. If you fail to pay them, #### you. Go die. If you use the money for other things, #### you. Go die. We are also repealing the Emergency Medical Treatment act signed by Reagan which started this ####ing mess. No one has to give you any service or good for free anymore. That sort of power allows us to formalize the existing socialized medicine we have now as well as make continual improvements and new demands as we see fit much more easily. After all, you dumb ####s are paying for it all one way or anything anyhow. We are simply replacing your employer as your keeper AND adding one small level of personal responsibility. Fixee, fixee!" Insurers will love it. Providers will love it. Darwin will love it.
