Union thugs across the nation are outraged that Michigan has become the latest state to pass a “right to work” law allowing people in unionized companies to choose whether or not they wish to join. Unions oppose such laws because they want people to be forced to join their ranks.

Earlier today the union supporters turned violent as they attacked supporters of the Michigan law, tearing down a tent while people were in it and punching conservative activist and comedian Steven Crowder in the face. Not condoning the violence at all and I hope the idiot who assaulted Crowder is arrested, but in my world, people who go in a tense atmosphere looking for a fight tend to find one.

And as much whining as GURPS does about edited videos from the left, I'm surprised he's not questioning why this video was edited.

When AFSME first started, they were not the political machine they have become today. Now I feel public sector unions need to just disappear. They are the embodiment of political corruption.

It is pretty sad seeing these idiots act like this when so many are out of work these days.

Sooooo you're suggesting union members don't own cell phones or cameras, that it wouldn't be possible to have a video in THEIR possession that would prove they were antagonized, or teased into a reaction.. That's what you believe?

From the footage I see from inside the tent it looked like a coordinated 'attack' but I'm sure you possess video proof that proves me wrong.

Every night we're subjected to videos of the 'news' of left wing folks 'fighting for a cause', be it minimum wage (living wage), gun control, or 'contraception rights' ad nauseum (SP?).

But they're not going into a tense atmosphere looking for a fight???

I see in dip####'s video that they were antagonized. In my world, "get out of my face" (being said repeatedly) tends to mean "get out of that dude's face".

I don't condone the violence, but I take dip#### at his word -- he went there looking for a fight.

All that said, I'd like to see Crowder post the full, unedited video.

His lame one-liners on 'Hannity' didn't help him either. Okay, it helped him with the hardliners who consider that show to be gospel... but it didn't help him with people like me who tuned in to the show to see what all that was about.
