so many have fled to wide open spaces, starting in the 1990's - they brought with them their liberal Ideals - raising taxes, changing schools - that the state had to pass Property TAX exemption regs. 3rd and 4th Gen Farms and Ranches were being taxed out of existence

Unfortunately, we conservative Californians who fled the state never seem to gain that kind of traction in areas we move to. Of course, we tend to be the working middle class who have actual jobs to go to.....

Thinking I still need to move to Idaho / Wy for Rural - or Texas ..... but Libbies are making changes in the Major Cities in that State as well

I almost bought down in Texas, but this (gov't) job came up, and here I am in Culture Shock land.

I hear it from friends and relatives in nearly every flyover state there is, that liberalism is spreading like a cancer.
