You came in here talking about politics (i.e "partisan dick sucker"). RP isn't a politician anymore, nor was he a Libertarian during the last election.

The Russians have thousands upon thousands of nukes, and just because they didn't specifically say "We want to nuke the US", it's not a problem.

But if Iran mearly makes a statement when everyone knows they don't even have a nuke (including our own government), it's a big deal?

But I think he is right on about how we’ve conducted wars in the past few decades. We have to stop this madness of thinking it’s our place to get involved in every living crisis in the world with our military. And I honestly think that is the broader meaning of what Paul so poorly articulated.

And that’s why he lost; because of his inability to articulate his positions in a way that resonated. As with this tweet, he comes across, time and time again, as sounding like he is attacking our military.

The moment its clear that Iran is on the threshold of achieving the capability to deliver a nuclear weapon on the tip of even the crudest of rockets...we should unilaterally and preemptively take them out and I'm quite sure we will. How's that for clarity?

So I can't disagree that he might have stated his case a bit more eloquently. But he's not a politician any longer and shouldn't be held to the same standard.

But I am sorry I cannot agree that he sounds like he is attacking our military. Just as when those who would criticize Ol'barky are not racists. Just as those who would criticize Israel are not anti semitic. Just as those who would criticize Hillary are not misogynistic. And so on and so on and so on. It goes both ways.

I actually took Paul's tweet to be an attack on Kyle personally...not the amorphous "military" so much. A sort of "sucks to be you, but you picked up the rifle first and so you deserved what you got".
