I saw it when my wife was teaching high school and one of her students died in a car crash. It was open casket, and I don't think it should have been. Not as extreme as this case, but still bad. But it is what her family wanted. It's the way they chose to grieve, and everyone grieves differently.

There are a lot of people who aren't too far away from mental illness to begin with, and grief can push them over the edge. I don't think it's that rare for mental illness to follow after tragedy.

If I lost one of my children...especially one of my little babies... I wouldnt be able to function. It would mentally break me.

Do you think she was referring to legislation that would make Lanza illegal?

Could be, but your assertion was that she blamed the gun. That passage doesn't prove that point at all.

you can't prove your point and you jump straight to calling names.

Even if you assume she is talking about gun legislation that passage does not speak to who or what she blames for her sons death. Wanna try again?

You just proved my point.
You really should consult a proctologist about getting your head removed from your ass.
The ONLY legislation that's been proposed has been about gun restrictions. For some reason nobody has moved to make a dead crazy person illegal yet you seem to think that's a possibility

You want to show where she talks about blame? It ain't in that passage. Supporting gun control in no way speaks to blame.

Did you look up strawman yet? It pretty well describes what you are doing right here.

Why is reading in context for comprehension so difficult for some people?

Someone that wants to use it for an agenda. I can't help but believe that someone got to her - perhaps even paid her off to do this. I mean if she's insane enough to do this, couldn't equally be just as insane to be bought off to become a mouthpiece for the anti-gun crowd?
