| Put another way; "If he wants to actually fix anything, govern as a fiscal conservative and honor his oath of office, if he intends to do the things we say we want done, we won't support him." Rand is more engaging and accessible than his father as well as being on the national stage further up the food chain at a younger age. What's important is getting a clear picture on where he stands on the issues, evidence that he means what he says and then, if you like him, to begin conditional support of him now. By conditional I mean writing him and explaining the above "I support you because of your position on X and work on Y and continued support is contingent on you keep to that path" and then send the guy $25 a quarter. That's, at most, $400 leading up to the race. If only a million people support him, that's MORE than enough to win the primary. And $400 is nothing compared to the $20k Bush spent on your credit card and the $30k or more Obama will have spent by the time he is done. This is how it's done, folks, if you want the parties to no longer be in control, the special interests. A typical presidential LOSER gets some 60 million votes. Even $20 per person is $1.2 BILLION and that is enough to win. The internet holds the seeds of electing people who are beholden to we, the people, instead of Wall Street or war interests (but, I repeat myself) or the health care interests or lobbyists from you name it. If 1 million people can make a video hot over night, we can make an individual competitive overnight. The flip side is someone who stinks but, either what we have is destroying the nation or is just working fine. You get to choose and sneering from your armchair about "It'll never happen" guarantees it won't. Finding someone you like NOW and consistent, conditional support, even if it doesn't work, means you will NOT be making the same excuses you made last time and the time before; "It's the media! I have no say! it's certainly not my fault for voting for the stiff THEY put up!" And it also means a new path to getting around the parties and the special interests will be widened year by year. And that is THE issue; if they need big bucks from bankers or industrialists, that's who they serve. If they get ALL their money from you and I and we actually SUPPORT them, they can be true to themselves and tell those guys "#uck you and the power you want over me." You get to choose. You have power. Use it. Or not.

| Unfortunately, people like Paul pull votes away from other's that have valid chances of winning even though they know their isn't a chance in hell they will win. Such a shame...

| You seem to have difficulty with rational discourse and reasoned argument.
