You pay a tax to live in this county- don't like it? Move. But one of the best parts about being an American is knowing that we can help those less fortunate and if we ever become less fortunate we will be ok. You should feel blessed to have a job because it's someone elses dream.

Thats just it, the ones that are sick of the taxes - they can afford to move and they often do. So who pays for all of your entitlements then?

They afford to move? That's funny because that isn't happening.

I've yet to speak with a medical professional I know personally who doesn't say it's being ripped off. Even my dad saw it, and he worked as a volunteer.

So who am I going to believe? Those around me I know, or some jerk who blames Republicans in every single sentence.

My sister saw it too

I'm not even sure that's hypocrisy. Humans are rational animals and we respond to incentives. I don't hold it against anyone. Hell, I take deductions off of my income taxes; I am responding to incentives of a different sort, but I'm still responding. There's a whole body of literature on behavioral economics out there. Fascinating stuff.

Like it or not, we humans are wired to do the least amount of work for the most possible return. This is an economic truism that cannot be escaped. It's true in business, and in human behavior.

If you (I don't mean you personally; I mean the royal you) want to hold someone responsible, it should be our government who has most of us convinced that it's OK to steal output from working people to use as charity for others. It's morally wrong, and creates two different classes of perpetual slaves.

Psst ....

those people 'far right' of republicans [whomever they may be, because that would be Anarchists] - Christian Organizations USED be the main source of the poor and infirm ... who do think built a lot of the pre 1900 hospitals .... along with many of the 'IVY' League colleges

Jeepers! You're dumber than dirt! O'Taxleey pushed through his millionaire tax and he lost just how many high end taxpayers? About 1/3 dumbcrap!

Of course, when you hang out with folks that think as you do, instead of the working class, you have a different viewpoint. Usually one looking outside your navel.
