This article puts everything into perspective! You see, Bush followed his Skull & Bones membership as a Yalie by working as a CIA spook; meanwhile, Kerry, in a fit of guilt following his own life of privilege and time as a Skull & Bones member, decided to cast off the trappings of elitism and instead fought "the Establishment". Thanks to GQ for straightening this up for us!

Now wouldn't that be a kick! G.W. in Saigon, Vietnam for an 8 month stint, hopping and dodging, hinkin' and jinkin' through the bush(no pun intended), wreaking havoc and disruption on N. Vietnamese forces.

If that were the case, he probably couldn't claim any Purple Hearts or Silver Stars like his Navel comrade did. He would have been there sub rosa.

Great Stuff to ponder.

Funny stuff.

Quote:
The president (Nixon) grew convinced the Stones were using their lyrics to indoctrinate American youth toward socialism, drugs, rioting against the government, bisexuality, hot pants, and tea...

Bush was assigned to the Stones' 1972 North American tour. He was asked to infiltrate the band's inner circle and report on any illegal or possibly un-American activities.

This time Bush chose to take on the identity of a roadie named Bo Bannister... Soon, he was given a position of great honor at the Stones' shows: inflating an enormous, forty-five-foot pink plastic penis at the beginning of "Honky Tonk Women."

To my knowledge, I've only told one other person on these boards that they were warped.
However, after seeing the naked man dancing up and down, that you posted on the same sex debate thread, and now this last reply:

I think that title can aptly be applied to you as well.

You are one strange dude.

You didn't find that funny? You do know that I did that just to shock and to get the anti-gay people riled up, don't you? If someone went on and on about how interracial marriage is supposedly wrong, I would probably post a screen shot from Jungle Fever.

Steve - Since everyone else was attempting to explain what Bush did during his unaccounted time in the National Guard, GQ jumped on the bandwagon with it's own explanation. Read GQ forum on this, it's pretty funny.
