Feingold calls for censure

"This is clearly more serious than what President Clinton was accused of doing," Feingold reporters after his floor speech.

To me, lying under oath to prevent justice from being served is more serious than wire-tapping terrorists, in my opinion.

For all the Democrats' big talk about illegal wire-taps and criminal activity, they have no interest in having a vote on record. What that tells me is that they're full of it and they know damn good and well that there was nothing "illegal" about the wire-taps. They also know that polls show the vast majority of Americans see nothing wrong with fighting terrorism by any means, and voting against it will kill them in the polls.

It's a stunt, and he knows it. I'd feel differently about it if I knew he was some kind of ideologue and was fighting a battle he thought was worth waging, even if it lost. He's not. The fact that he's delaying a vote shows, he is waiting for the best TIME to smack the President - before it loses.

God, I hate this crap. Why can't they just do their damned job, instead of waste our time?

Why can't the voters see through this stuff and fire them all in the next 6 years. We need a complete turn of Congress. Get rid of them all. Serve notice that we are not going to put up with their less than stellar performance.
