Steny Hoyer...

I'm interviewing for internships practically everywhere. One of them is with Steny Hoyer at his Waldorf office.

What are your thoughts of Steny Hoyer?

...or add anything random.

It would be an excellent opportunity, but heck, working even in Pelosi's office would be an excellent opportunity for any college senior. It will give you a chance to do gopher work (because that is really what you will be doing... running little errands, copying, filing, etc...) while seeing what actually goes on to serve constituents. But it beats doing gopher work for some company as an intern where you wouldn't learn much except how that company does business.

Steny's okay - decent enough guy. Keep in mind, though, that my personal experience with him is with fundraisers and community events, not working for him. But I found him to be...not likeable, but decent enough.

Steny is the man. An internship in his office could open some future doors for you.

I really don't like Steny, but the job would be the best possible thing you could do. It looks great on a resume for almost anything, plus it gets your foot in the door if you ever want to work on the hill. It would also be a great learning experience. I have a cousin who turned a Senator internship into a law degree. Absolutely take it.

Skip it, drop out of college and run for district 29B delegate for the Maryland Legislature. You're much more competent then the candidate that has infected these forums.

Seriously, as said it is a great opportunity. Go for it and practice puckering up for smooching some behind.

I was thinking he should be JPC's intern or campaign manager.

Go for it. Don't let his extreme partisan mouth affect your own views.
