| This was the "poster's" comments... In examining these two posts, we should begin to understand that there are several reasons why Africa and China are establishing ties for the development of both China and the continent of Africa. The reasons range in four areas: Natural Resources, Politics, Economic, and white supremacy. As per the article that I posted above, it is obvious that the most populous nation in the world would need an abundance of natural resources to maintain the growth and increase in standard of living in their homeland. To turn to Western countries and their affiliates, is to be under control of entities that would provoke war over oil. China is obviously above that. So, they would ally themselves with Nigeria, Libya, Tunisia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Angola, Zimbabwe, and the Sudan, all of which (except for Zimbabwe I believe) have large oil deposists, many of which are uncharted and are second to the oil production of the Middle East. The only Middle East nation they seem to want to work with is Iran, because of their effective rebuttal of Western influence and their ability to remove themselves from the ongoing conflicts of the Middle East. In the realm of politics, it is also obvious that instead of their being Western nations, their is now a need to promote a Western world view. Both of which have been detrimental to the growth and development of Africa and Asia. China does not believe in Western hegemony nor does it believe on the Westerners need to dictate the activities of soveriegn nations. China understands the assualt that Africans have faced in the hands of Westerners and know that they find potential allies in the rebuttal of Western influence. A powerful Africa and China, with the reunification of Taiwan, can be a tremendous counter to the politics of the Western world. Economically, Africa at its best, can sustain itself and the world. China has the manpower to provide the world with an endless supply of products and materials. An empowered Africa is something to be feared in the Western world view. An empowered China is already feared in the Western world view. Combine those two and you have an economic juggernaut that my not need Western nations to help sustain itself. Also, China is in a battle with India in regards to economic influence and clout, and since India has little ties with Africa, China will truly benefit through their association. Now, this is what I feel is the most important. white supremacy. History has shown that Western nations feel that they should dictate the activities of the world, and that no nation can truly be great without the particapation of European people. China, and all of Asian has felt the impact of white supremacy. NO DISRESPECT INTENDED, but words like jap, chink, gook, slanty eyes is a small taste of the remnants of white supremacy. The issue of Taiwan, and the possesion of Hong Kong by the British are other remnants of white supremacist influence in China. There is a great deal more. China denies the influence of white supremacy and does not wish to see it thrive. Africans all over the planet detest white supremacy and its lingering influence all over the African world. A adamant China and Africa form a perfect combination to rebuke white supremacy. India supports white supremacy to a degree with its oppression of the Dalit (Dravidian) population called the Untouchables who happen to be the darkest of the dark in India. They also seem eager to ally themselves with the western world, and again, both China and India oppose each other in economic influence, land, and politics. This is my answer to the situation. As a Haitian, dealing with Africans and some Chinese, I only hope that I understand that this is their approach and if it is, more power to them. Last edited by yornoc : 05-18-2002 at 05:44 PM. |

| Wow, There are 2 articles about China looking for oil, and you conclude that the world is rightfully raceist. There was no mention about what the 'environmentalist' or 'green party' was doing about China's doubling of oil consumption. You did not even attack that China, a growing military state, was going out of there way to befriend and support countries who goal is to destroy 'the great satan'. How did you miss the joke about China's population increasing - 1 person pre family. Their are countless other topics you could have pulled out of these 2 articles, but no, you pulled out that China and Africa are anti white, and someday they will subdue whitey, and the world will be a better place. I for one think your commartary is bull. While America is not perfect, we do not go around and kill everyone that won't change their religion, families can have more than one child, the gov't doesn't have mass executions for people that disagree with them on politics, we have not pulled people out of other peoples embassies and have them disappear, ... I hope you open your eyes, and wash away your raceism glasses and see just how good we have it here in the US of A, because being a 'liberal' in some countries means you are aloud to worship as you please in secret, but must be the state religion in open, and don't think about critism of politics, that is a death sentence in many countries. |

I am hoping that your response is to the author and not to me – the poster. I was surprised that the “author” got racism from this too. I am more focused on the fact that if China’s befriending of the “axis-of-evil” countries, most Muslim countries and Africa becomes some type of alliance, they will be an unstoppable world force – militarily and economically. | |

| My wrong, I read the whole thing incorrectly, when you wrote - This is the posters comments - I thought these where yours, meaning you where posting it. I went back and read it, and it is actually clear, I can only plead the 5th. So yes, take my comments to read the 'the original poster is an idiot, and my comments are redirected to them' |
