That is the way he came across last night. Sort of like the father of a prostitute and has to defend her but much rather be somewhere else. Problem is, the Leftist put him in that position so often that we only see him playing the idiot.

On his radio show he is more convincing because you cannot see the pained look on his face when he launches into an absurd argument.
