| Our left is living a lie... ...all one need to do is follow our relationship with Iraq from 1991 couple with the UN's (non)role then on through the terror attacks on us starting with the first attempt on the WTC, the mystery of TWA 800, the embassy bombings, the USS Cole and on to Osama's declaration of war against us in 1997, Afghanistan and then read the freaking Iraq War resolution. Add in little tidbits like the infidels (us) being near Mecca and Medinah, throw in oil stability, and a light seasoning of wild guesses(!) as to what Saddam Hussein would or would not have done absent our intervention over the coming decade. END OF STORY. So, we have the never ending attempt on the part of our left to deligitmize every step of that. They have created the gulf in US public opinion by saying the actions we've taken are wrong. Why? Why is it wrong to get rid of Saddam? It is wrong? If anyone on the left truly thought that the Axis of Evil, Bush, Cheney and Rove, were trying to use the war as a political tool, all they need do is make it useless in one fell swoop; embrace it. Embrace the war as a liberation of the long suffering Iraqi people. Embrace it as liberation and modernation for Iraqi females and intelectuals. Embrace it as deposing a global ecological terrorist, Saddam the Oil well burner. Embrace it as a chance for America to bring liberation, LIBERATION, to a region noted for totalitarianism and religious excess. The ONLY way the war is a political tool against the left is if THEY make it so. We didn't invade Berkley, we invaded and deposed a nut job. So, ask yourself the next time you hear some leftist shrieking about Bush's divisive illegal war why is it divisive? Why is it illegal? Why is the left opposed to liberating Iraq? Shines a different light on the issue, huh?
