It will be interesting to see what the Dems do with this. Bush has only petitioned the UN a zillion times - this is something they should be concerning themselves with, not Bush.

Hell, the UN wouldn't go after Saddam - what makes anyone think they'll go after the Sudanese government?

U.N. is too busy condemning Israel for defending themselves

The U.N. has no morals. And the way they're NOT making Hizbollah live up to the end of the Mideast Cease-fire, it almost makes me think they support the enemy.

There hasn't been enough UNRs written up on the Sudan yet. We need more UNRs.

...sooner or later, they're bound to find someone they think they can enforce something on. Maybe Zambia?

Call it the law of averages.

I searched a few sites that are dedicated to the situaion in Sudan. Every single one of them condemns Bush in some way, as if this is his fault or something. "Bush isn't doing enough!" "Too busy invading Iraq to stop a genocide!"

No real mention of the UN or it's global role. I thought that was interesting because the first thing Lefties do when the US gives aid to some country is complain that "we're not the world's police" and rave about imperialism. Yet when we stay out of it, they want us to get involved.

It's absolutely disgraceful how Hillary wants to play politics with this. Instead of presenting a bill to Congress, she wants Sudan to be her campaign issue.
She's a politician, that's what they do...play politics.

BTW--Why should the US concern itself with Sudan?

They might have thought about it, but when they realized the logistics involved and the fact that NOBODY has EVER sucessfully invaded Russia, they didn't do it.

The world has caught on to the left-wing mantra that everything is the US's (and in particular Bush's) fault. The Palestinians were also blaming the US for their own internal violence.

Palestinians Blame U.S. for Deterioration

Quote:
Adults in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank blame the United States for recent problems, according to a poll by the Palestinian Center for Public Opinion. 30.6 per cent of respondents think the United States is responsible for the deterioration of the economic conditions in the territories of the Palestinian Authority.
It's our fault they are killing each other.

Wait a moment!

Weren't the French in Sudan for a number of years? Why don't they stand up for what is right, and return justice to the region?

Oh, I forgot; it's hard to spot a white flag in the blinding sunlit desert.
