"We're going to have Universial Health Care when I become president"

-Hiliary Clinton

At the forum, Clinton said she "learned a lot" during the failed health care effort of her husband's presidency.

"We're going to have universal health care when I'm president _ there's no doubt about that. We're going to get it done," the New York senator and front-runner for the 2008 nomination said.

Clinton focused on health care issues during an appearance on ABC's "Good Morning America" broadcast from the state where precinct caucuses will launch the presidential nominating season.

We already have universal health care. Those who have insurance take up the slack for those who do not. An ER will not turn you away, they just jack up everyone else's costs.

We are already going to have massive issues with medicare, medicaid, and social security in the next 40 years due to payments far exceeding collections for those programs. Add on universal healthcare and we can watch our taxes go to the 50-60% bracket...

What's not to like, outrageous tax hikes, crappy medical care, long lines ect.....

Free health care, it's never been so expensive!

But...but...if we already have universal health care, then why did that little boy die of a toothache?

I know it's true cuz Steny Hoyer says so.

"Government Run Healthcare: The efficiency of the DMV combined with the compassion of the IRS." -Author unknown

Maybe we should think about this before deciding to vote 3rd party.

"Freedom is about authority. Freedom is about the willingness of every single human being to cede to lawful authority a great deal of discretion about what you do,” - Rudy Giuliani

"We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good." - Hillary Clinton

Wouldn't those be good reasons to vote third party?

Hmmm...my sarcastometer has held a good calibration for quite a long time, but I guess it's a bit out-of-whack.

That should get me back in whack.
