Is God a vegetarian?

Someone answer this question for me. Is he a vegetarian, or does he in fact feast on meat? I want to see proof in the Bible that God does not eat meat. Or, prove to me that he does eat meat.

Whether God eats meat or even eats food does seem answered in the 2nd post,

but according to the Bible - God made mankind (male and female) and the animals to only eat vegetables link HERE.

God is not a hypocrite and since He created mankind as vegetarian than God is a vegetarian too.

It was only because of sin and sinning that the people and the animals started to eat meat and God permits eating meat in the same way that He permits people to sin today - we each reap what we sow.

Jesus gave others meat to eat but He did not eat the meats Himself.

Spirits, (God & the Angels), are non physical entities so they can't eat physical food (neither meat nor veges). In each case in the OT & NT, when a Spirit being ate food, they had taken on human form first. The angels did it in Genesis 18 and Jesus did it in Luke 24. So, no, God doesn't eat nor does He need to. In Heaven, we will not need to eat but I'm fairly certain that we will be able to for the enjoyment of it.

Even in the Old Testament the Judeo/Christian god told to eat meat:
Genesis 9

I don't believe that his dietary plan is laid out in the bible.


Maybe he only eats ambrosia.

I'm kinda curious why you'd have this question in the first place. How will the answer affect your life? Will you lose sleep until you get the answer?
