| OK - it is your free will to choose to believe that you do not need Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. So be it. |

If god didn't expect people to think for themselves then he shouldn't have let us have free will.

In fact, in the New Testament, Jesus said that it was necessary for Him to return to the Father (after He had appeared in His resurrected body) so that the Holy Spirit could be sent to live in the lives of those who accept His atonement. The Holy Spirit is God's indwelling power in the life of born-again believers and is the strength that brings true peace and a life-changing journey in the life of followers of Jesus. It is the spiritual reconciliation with God that can only happen through asking Jesus to be the Lord of your life and admitting that your good is not good enough to merit Salvation. That is available to you and the entire world - each must decide where they stand with God - with or without Jesus.

| God wanted to have people choose to love Him because they want to -NOT because they have to or were made to. This shows true sincerity in a person's desire to want to be led by God and admit that they need Him in their life. This decision has nothing to do with establishing a religious method of reaching God but reaching out to accept the spiritual relationship that God offers each person in order to be reconciled to Him through the Atoning Blood of the New Testament Jesus - Y'shua HaMashiach. |

Then you will know that there is a difference between the Jesus of the New Testament and the Jesus of the Qur'an. The New Testament Jesus is the Son of God and Saviour of mankind through His atoning Blood. The Qur'an teaches that Allah had no son. Islam teaches that the Islamic Jesus, Isa', will appear with al-Mahdi and will rebuke "Christians" for believing he was the Son of God and Isa' will break the cross and kill the swine. Take that meaning for what its worth - but that's what Islam teaches. So I ask this of you - which Jesus is the true Jesus: The New Testament Jesus, Son of God and Saviour of mankind or the Qur'anic Jesus (Isa') a lesser "prophet" than Muhammad and who was never really crucified on the cross????

| lol - However, the right answer is the one that guarantees God's Promise of Forgiveness and Eternal Salvation for those who choose to accept and place faith in the Right Jesus. This is where God's Holy Spirit leads those who are sincere in seeking God to know His Truth about which Jesus is the True One; Jesus of the New Testament or Isa' of the Qur'an. You choose which one to believe. |

As far as the Jews - faith in Y'shua as Moshiach is what comprised 1st Century believers - all Jewish men, women and children. Orthodox Jews and Muslims are still awaiting their "Messiah" to appear and bring peace - agreed they do not believe Jesus of the New Testament was that "guy" whose atonement has been accepted by God. God Did For Mankind What Abraham Was Going To do For God. ( Muslims and Orthodox Jews don't believe that to be true - what do you believe? )
