I did, but nobody witnessed it.. does it make it less of a miracle??

And if I died today and rose from the grave.. nobody would believe.. it would be discounted as a trick, a magicians trick.. you were never really dead.. it wasn't me they buried.. etc.. etc.. it's IMPOSSIBLE to do ... today.. but not 2000 years ago..

What's really implausible? I just briefly perused Marie's "Countering the Critics" site and read their explanation for the Star of Bethlehem. They proposed three scientific explanations then said that none of them were sufficient. Therefore, this occurence must have been "temporary and supernatural", never seen before and never seen since. Such "supernatural" events seemed to have happened daily several thousand years ago, but not so much anymore. I find that peculiar, to say the least.

Needn't go that far; flying on any commercial jetliner will allow you to see the earth's curvature. I had a beautiful view of it when I flew into London at dawn several years ago.

man, what?

what god would allow things like that?

Babies don't starve themselves. Mankind allows babies to starve. They have babies when they have no food. They throw food away when they know someone else is starving. They throw $500,000 parties and hire someone who can't feed their own child to serve the caviar. That's not God's work, that's man's work in action. It's OUR fault, not His.

It's impossible for a man to do, today or 2000 years ago.

So, if you did it, people would believe it wasn't true, just like most did then (and you seem to think now).

But, just because some people don't believe it doesn't make it not true.

So we can fix it and it's our fault, but god could fix it and it's not his fault?

What about murder? I've seen on the news countless times some crazy woman killing a lady and stealing the baby. Now it's the crazy womans fault obviously, but when the other is powerless to stop it, why should she then be made to suffer and die?

Don't give me that "It was her time" or "god has a plan" b.s. .... If god needs a person then he should be able to do it without brutal murder.

What's implausible about lifeless goo becoming life, and transforming into water animals, then land animals, then diversing into millions and millions of distinct lifeforms over the millenia, eventually reaching what we have today with no evidence of any of this other than minor changes in traits over hundreds of years? Are you serious?

And, you proved that the world is coin-shaped.

Well you don't believe I rose from the dead .... I'm here purporting good will and tolerance to all people.

You're putting your personal rules on the actions of a supreme, omniscient being.
