These "liberals" are not to be confused with political liberals. Sorry for the confusion but I was doing this to prove a point. Many religions use the name Jesus to mean different things. I hope you see the point I've been trying to get across with this now.

I'm a little confused.

Easy fix Xaquin. Jesus has 2 natures just as we do. One spiritual and one physical. His physical body was killed on the cross but His spirit remained alive and went back to The Father in Heaven. You are correct in that a spiritual entity cannot die a physical death because they are not physical. The death of a soul in the Bible means eternal separation from God. Trying to kill a soul or spirit would be like trying to shoot or stab a beam of light.

Absolutely 100% very narrow minded and arrogant! But when you are God, you can make the rules for your creation. God said it, I believe it and that settles it. Why should Jesus go through what He went thorugh for us all and then allow people to get into Heaven by some means other than Him?

Libby, they do not ALL belong to God. In 2 Corinthians 11 v 3 & 4, we are told NOT to be deceived AS EVE WAS (hello) in the case of a different Jesus. I shouldn't have to spend all this time explaining this to someone who claims to be a Christian. How would you like to hear people you know say: "but Libby told us we were believing the correct doctrine", right before God sends them away forever? Keep reading lady.

Tommy, the Truth comes down to this: It's not what you know; it's Who You Know! We know the True God of Creation through the life, and ministry of Yeshua (New Testament Jesus). Many religious people profess to "believe in God" but the fact is - they don't believe God at all. They just are going through the religious motions of canned prayers, rituals and traditions imposed by "priests/preachers" who claim to be speaking for God.
Yeshua contended with many religious leaders who would praise God with their words but their inward heart was far removed from God.

We build our faith and spiritual relationship with God through the Plan of Salvation that God provided for all who will accept it. The Holy Spirit is then sent to indwell the live of each believer and to give us peace that surpasses all understanding. It is Only through Yeshua's Atoning Blood that anyone can receive God's Forgveness if he/she is willing to repent of those things that keep one separated from God.

Yeshua declared that He Is The Way The Truth and The Life and No One Can Come Unto The Father Except Through Him. (John 14:6)

When you know Yeshua - You will know God.

I'm not being mean Libby. What you said is clear. You SEEM to be denying that WE (Christians) DO have the God given right to judge false teachings just as Jesus did and Paul told us to. Why would any Christian NOT want to point out truth & error to save a soul?
