This is prophesied to take place when the whole world comes under the control of a One World Government/One World Religion system. The formation of the United Nations is but one small step toward that happening. Presently, there are many countries charting out their part of sharing power in a globally controlled system.

BTW: The One World Religion is prophesied to be one that seeks the destruction of Israel, persecutes and beheads Christians for their faith in Christ and persecutes and kills any person that does not accept the "official" globally implemented religion.

No, the prophecy is not specifically about a microchip. It's about a mark place on the hand or head. Two thousand years ago, what else would they have called it?

Having said that, I really doubt that these chips are the mark of the beast. The mark - whatever it turns out to be - will be received with the cognizent and voluntary rejection of God, and willing alliance with the Antichrist, and will not be taken by accident, or administered in ignorance.

I agree with you here. The mark of the beast is a way of identifying a person's loyalty to the beast, just as God's mark on the foreheads (Ezekiel 9 v 4) was a way of identifying God's people. I do not believe it's a chip under the skin and I see no need for us to have this implanted. However, for the safety of certain people, such as police and certain military folks, I can see a benefit.
The number 666 was the number of a first century man using Gematria (the system of using numbers to indicate the name of a person). Some think it is the number of a modern day person but I think it was the "Gematria" of Antiochus Epiphanes IV who was every bit as evil as the devil himself when he destroyed the temple in 70 AD.

Yep, sounds very Islamic alright! Especially the Shia' prophecy and their Islamic expectation of a world "saviour" al-Mahdi who is accompanied by a co-hort, Isa', (the Islamic Jesus). And then we have Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, outwardly proclaiming that he believes his mission is to help usher in al-Mahdi through creating global chaos.

you two are idiotic. Even if you accept the propheses of destruction, you know htat it takes FOREVER for governments to do anything. The UN has been around for how long and they have done nothing dastardly. This one world religion, has it even been convieved of yet? as far as i can tell there are tons of religions and sects that have millions of followers. thats a far cry from 1 in the world. you speak of a unified world that predicts this appocolypse but then give examples of people who are devisive and want to cause world chaos, these aren't the uniter who would be the anti-christ......

as for their constitution, why should i care. the USA has its own constitution and i haven't seen any CREDIBLE news regarding it being challenged by islam.
