The military is trying to implement these. It would help track them in the event they were taken POW. And it would help in positioning troops on the battlefield in real-time. It would also serve to replace dog tags.

It's all over Revelations.

No, the prophecy is not specifically about a microchip. It's about a mark place on the hand or head. Two thousand years ago, what else would they have called it?

Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Rev 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive [his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand,



Having said that, I really doubt that these chips are the mark of the beast. The mark - whatever it turns out to be - will be received with the cognizent and voluntary rejection of God, and willing alliance with the Antichrist, and will not be taken by accident, or administered in ignorance.

considering God supposedly directed the writing of the bibole and he was all kowning, i would think he would have called it something more representative, if this were indeed the mark......

Well, while we're at it, The Beast could have been called something more representative. How come we didn't get a name? What is the name of the Whore of Babylon for that matter? Four Horsemen? Gimme a break.

Unless they've grossly boosted the battery (and footprint) the range of a RFID chip is VERY limited. The Reader has to be within feet in order to pick it up.

It would seem that, to fit prophecy, this would have to be an international effort - not just a system established within the U.S. And it seems reasonable that, again trying to fit prophecy, officials would pass a law requiring everyone to get one, otherwise they could not "buy or sell" or generally function in the new society.

Well, I'm looking out my window...

... and I don't see people being lined up by the thousands to be forcibly injected with one of these.


But, what the heck, I guess I'll still start worrying now...
