It is my understanding that the art of communicating well is to be able to speak about the exact same thing over and over again and to still find it interesting each time.

That works for me when I preach true religion, like "Christ Died for the ungodly".

The thing that is misinterpreted in scriptures is that we reap as we sow now in this life and not after death.

So one like Judas paid with his physical life and in his own agony and in his infamy too.

And on Judgment Day everyone gets saved but they will still be weeping and gnashing of teeth much like Judas did in his end. But then everyone gets the gift of Jesus sacrifice and all sins are forgiven. Even the worse of the worst of sins was paid in full.

And in the scriptures the word "fire" means a blessed thing, as in 1 Corinthians 3:15

If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. KJV.

ESV = If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved,(A) but only as through fire.

In the Bible fire is a symbol of the Holy Spirit and of cleaning and purifying and not to torture and hurt sinners.

Just like the Rich man found out I'm sure when he was in torment while looking at Lazarus afar off.

Fire is a symbol of consumption. Like "God is a consuming fire". You still don't address how eternal punishment equates to salvation.

In the passage I quoted above from Matthew, Jesus uses the same word for eternal when referencing both life and punishment. You can believe how you like, God's own Son teaches that eternal life and eternal punishment ar etwo separate things.

It is a parable which is meant to teach and not to intimidate.

The holy fire consumes the sins and not the person.

Eternal punishment does not include eternal punishing.

Christ paid an eternal punishment but that does not include being eternally punished continually.

I have already been punished for my past sins and I have done what I could in my own repentance and making amends and my punishments are still with me forever, but there is no after death punishing and more punishing because God loves His enemies and He forgives us all, and Christ paid the price in full.

You are good at posting non sequiturs.

So according to you, when Jesus was saying "And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life" He is referring to himself being punished?

This is truly weak sauce and does not follow.

That is what you are saying, but I did not say anything like that.

So I stand by my own words in my own post as accurate and true.

But in fact Jesus did accept the punishments and Jesus' punishment does last eternally even though it ended at His resurrection.

And my understanding is that "all people fall short" so everyone will receive both the eternal punishment and the eternal life at the same time. We each and all will have to live with our own past sins forever even though the punishments are long over.

Everyone does get saved, but no one is ever going to forget our sinful lives in this world, and there is the fire of punishment working for our eternal salvation.

Some people read the Bible, and come away with a different message than others do. Years ago, I asked the Holy Spirit to enter my heart and soul, and -

BAM!

Things that I could not previously understand - were suddenly opened up to me.

Is that believable? Has anyone else ever had that kind of experience?
