Yes, of course I have read the Bible many times, and I have read many different interpretations of the Bible.

And it is not a matter of showing ignorance, as my point is to try to give the correct messages from the scriptures.

Yes I have... and because the Holy Spirit is my guide in these matters... I know that I will be shown a false teaching when I see it.... and I know I have to point it out. JP is, now and has in the past, distorted the Word.

He's like one of those preachers who claims that twists the gospel to man's needs... you know the kind... the ones that say there is any other way to Heaven than through Christ.

You know that the only way to Salvation is through Jesus Christ, the Son of the One Living God.... right?

Thank You! I kind of figured that I wasn't alone, in my feelings. However there are those who seem to be afraid to admit it. I was not doing very well, at the time, and everything seemed to turn sorry for me. It was suggested that I might try that gesture. Within days, I found a new light, a new hope!

The Holy Spirit has opened up new avenues for me!

All of humanity is unGodly and Christ paid the price in full for all as a "free gift".

Many "Christians" claim that each person must "believe" or be "baptized" or "repent" or whatever, but if a person did that stuff then they would not be unGodly for Christ to save.

James, It's Gods will (one of th two) that all that should repent and come to him, NOT that all will.
We can glorify God either way from the smoke and the stench of burning in hell or by being redeemed by him. Either way God gets the glory, its just so much better when all of creation can marvell and say, look God even saved that sinner.

Which way will you be glorifing him?

Eternal punishment does not include eternal punishing.

Christ paid an eternal punishment but that does not include being eternally punished continually.

I have already been punished for my past sins and I have done what I could in my own repentance and making amends and my punishments are still with me forever, but there is no after death punishing and more punishing because God loves His enemies and He forgives us all, and Christ paid the price in full.

Lets define a parable:

A short narrative illustrating a lesson (usually religious/moral) by comparison or analogy
en.wiktionary.org/wiki/parable
A brief story, told or written in order to teach a moral lesson. Christ's tale of the Good Smamritan (Luke 10: 30-7) is an example. Return to Menu

The parables in the gospels teach about salvation, just like back then, not everyone got it.

Mat 13:13This is why Ispeak to them inin parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.

So I stand by my own words in my own post as accurate and true.

But in fact Jesus did accept the punishments and Jesus' punishment does last eternally even though it ended at His resurrection.

And my understanding is that "all people fall short" so everyone will receive both the eternal punishment and the eternal life at the same time. We each and all will have to live with our own past sins forever even though the punishments are long over.

Everyone does get saved, but no one is ever going to forget our sinful lives in this world, and there is the fire of punishment working for our eternal salvation.

Wowza, you missed the boat there to not all receive punishment! only those that have not repented and put their faith and trust in Christ. Christan's get judged for there works so as to receive crowns to give back.
You need to look at the doctrine of justification.
Those that have been credited (justified) by our sin being put on Christ on the cross and his righteousness credited to our account, cant be judged for sin, as after glorification we no longer have any. Once that transaction takes place Gods not looking at us, or our former sin covered under the blood, only the holiness of his son. Gods just, there is no double jeopardy, that law has been satisfied already.

NOPE! today is the day of salvation, Paul tells us to work it out with fear and trembling.
Php 2:12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,
At that point its like the Carol King song Now its to late baby, now its to late!

Thats how God primarily speaks to us, that and through the preaching and teaching of the word.
We pray and speak to him and in turn he speaks through us through the word. Thats why its so important to read scripture daily.
