Exclamation My Turn To Ask A Question....

Do any of you wonder if the Trinity, God The Father, Jesus Christ(His Son) and the Holy Spirit, had different roles to perform, or "play out" - throughout the history of Christianity?

I mean, look at the earliest times/stories in the Bible. In the Old Testament, God the Father and the Holy Spirit were there in the Begining; they shaped the world as it was,He saved His people, punished them, crusaded for them, and even vanquished their enemies. These events happened, far along the way - I guess until - the Book of Malachi.

Next, we have the birth of John The Baptist, how he laid the foreshadowing of the "One to come after him, who was greater than himself", and then the storied event of Mary being seeded by an Angel with The Christ.

Jesus being (lack of a better phrase) seeded in Mary, is a new Begining, all over again, but this time a New Message will be sent. He will come and teach a slightly different message. He will hail the efforts of His Father, but will condemn the Church Leaders of the time. He will heal the sick and the poor.

He will tell His followers to love one another, to love their enemies, as well as each other.

Before He left the physical confines of this earth, He told His followers, that He would not leave them alone. He would leave them with a Counselor - the Holy Spirit.

We pray to the Father - Jesus's Name. He is Our Savior!

I see it like this God the father is Spirit we know of him in the scriptures thats pretty much it, other than hearing him speak. All throughout scripture we see the son, both Preincarnate in the old testament and then as the God man Jesus Christ in the new, Basically every instance of God doing something was actually Christ. Then we see the Holy Spirit. In both the new and old Similar roles but employed full time after Christ resurrection.

I was kind of floored when I realized Christ created everything, because I had attributed that to the father. It was also pretty wild when I realized it was a preincarnate Christ doing so much in the old testament. IE the smoking pot the, wrestling with Jacob, The cloud by day and the fire by night that lead them through the wilderness. The son had been doing the fathers bidding long before the cross!

I belive in God and believe I will go to heaven. Can't wait to see my dad, my little sister, my uncle and my grandparents, my aunts and uncles, my friends that have left this earth way too early.. I believe that death will re-unite me with my loved ones and look forward to everything except the pain before death. I believe God will relieve that pain, also. God will be kind to me in my last days. 2A has opened my eyes and my soul and for that, I am eternally grateful.

That DOES kind of "open your eyes", yes!

Then, if you re-read Genesis, in the first few verses, you will find that the planet earth was a void; ie., it was uninhabited, bereft of any flora or fauna. A dark sphere.

But then, The Father spoke the ---- "Word", and things began to happen!

Fast forward to the New Testament: Who was spoken of - as "The Word", in each of the Four Gospels?

Theres another verse too but I cant remeber it off the top of my head.
Col 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
Col 1:16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things were created through him and for him.
Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.
Col 1:19 For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell,
Col 1:20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2 He was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.
